As the Memphis region continues to experience continuous rain and the potential for flooding, the Greater Memphis Chamber is monitoring the current conditions and trends with our local, State and Federal agencies/officials. As conditions unfold, the Chamber will continue to keep the Memphis business community up-to-date. Along with email and social media posts, the Chamber will continue to post updates at www.memphischamber.com. We also encourage the Memphis business community to visit www.staysafeshelby.us.
In the event that the Federal Government declares Shelby County as a State of Emergency, the Chamber will notify its members when assistance may become available.
In the meantime, the Chamber is collecting data about area businesses that have experienced weather-related damage. If your business has received any weather-related damage, please provide the name of your business (address/phone), type of business and type of damage incurred. Please send this information to Nykesha Cole at ncole@memphischamber.com.
